New Orleans Saints Sign Darren Sproles

Just when Saints fans began freakin’ out about Reggie Bush headed out of New Orleans, the Saints lay some of the questions to rest.  The New Orleans Saints have reached a deal with former San Deigo Chargers running back Darren Sproles.  NFL Network reports that the deal is a four-year deal worth $14 Million with $6 Million of that guaranteed.  Sproles will join an offensive attack with Drew Brees at quarterback and three other running backs in Chris Ivory, Pierre Thomas and rookie Mark Ingram.  Coach Sean Payton has to be happy about having all of those guys around as the Saints will have a different type of weapon available out of the backfield on every down.
