Studyofsports.com is an online resource for education about professional sports. We discuss historical biography, statistical relevance and comparative data in an attempt to further educate novice sports fans and allow them a more comprehensive understanding and appreciation for their passion. Our main focus is to establish a commentary with our readers and hopefully learn as much as we teach.

Benjamin Edwards is a sports enthusiast from north Texas. He studies baseball history and is especially interested in the dead ball era. Benjamin has visited every MLB ballpark and NFL stadium in North America, and has an extensive collection of books on baseball that numbers in the thousands.

Michael Talley played basketball and baseball in high school and went on to play baseball at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, TX. He received a degree in sports management from the University of Texas at Arlington and went on to start a sports memorabilia company in 2007, Major League Access, that offers items from current and vintage sports stars with a heavy emphasis in game used and autographed baseball items from players of today and yesteryear. He has worked in Los Angeles at one of the top baseball agencies in the world, Beverly Hills Sports Council, and was previously with the Fort Worth Flyers, a NBDL team.
