The Hejduk Effect
Make no mistake about it; coming into the final twenty game stretch of the NHL season following the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, the Colorado Avalanche will be needing the services of their veteran winger Milan Hejduk. The problem being that the seasoned old sniper has already missed nineteen games this season, mostly related to ongoing knee issues.

The Fighting Colorado Avalanche
There’s a lot of fighting going with the Colorado Avalanche these days. Besides the entire team fighting to stay atop the very tight Northwest Division, we’ve got three youngsters fighting to stay in the top ten in rookie scoring, players fighting to stay in the lineup, and can you believe it, actual knockdown fisticuffs on the ice. It’s almost as if Ian “Lappy” Laperriere himself were back in town.
