According to many sources around the sports world, and the fact that the University of Arizona’s athletic director Greg Byrne tweeted a picture of Rodriguez and himself, Rich Rodriguez will be hired to coach the Arizona football team in 2012. The official announcement should come later today in a scheduled news conference.
Joe Paterno to Retire at Season’s End
Penn State football coach Joe Paterno — rocked by child abuse charges against an assistant coach — will announce later today his decision to retire at the end of the season, according to his son Scott and a source close to the decision who spoke with the AP.
